Thera Links is professor Endocrinology at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

She is involved in clinical care of patients with thyroid diseases with a focus on thyroid cancer. Her research has been focussed on improvement of diagnostics and prevention of late effects in thyroid cancer. She has been supported by the Dutch Cancer Society and the Dutch foundation of Child Cancer. She is the former president of the working party for national guidelines for the treatment of thyroid cancer in the Netherlands and involved in national and international studies on endocrine tumours. She has a lot of experience on working with rare familial syndromes, with working in multidisciplinary teams of different institutes and countries. She is (co)author of more than 300 publications in peer reviewed journals and chapters in textbooks in the field of endocrine oncology and clinical endocrinology.
