Hao Ying is a Professor at Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Currently, he serves as a Deputy Director of CAS Key Laboratory of Nutrition, Metabolism and Food Safety. He got his PhD degree from Shanghai Institute of Cell Biology, CAS, in 2001. He received five-year postdoc training in Laboratory of Molecular Biology at NCI, NIH, USA, before he was promoted as a Staff Scientist in 2006. He joined One Hundred Talents Program of CAS and became a principal investigator in 2008. He holds membership in The Endocrine Society and American Thyroid Association. He conducts basic research on nutrition, endocrinology, metabolism, as well as toxicology, and has published about 70 research articles. Recently, he published more than 20 papers as a corresponding author in journals, such as Nat Commun, J Hepatol, PNAS, PLoS Biol, J Cell Biol, Cell Rep, and J Biol Chem.
