Andrea Pollard is a Research Associate at Imperial College, London, UK. She has worked in the Molecular Endocrinology laboratory under Prof Graham Williams and Prof Duncan Bassett since 2016. She obtained a BSc in Bioveterinary Sciences and a PhD in Developmental Biology at the Royal Veterinary College, London, UK. Andrea’s PhD work in Prof Andrew Pitsillides’ group focused on mechanical regulation of embryonic skeletal development. Her current research focuses on the role of thyroid hormone in skeletal development, maintenance and repair.
