I obtained my Ph.D. from University of Yamanashi in 2004, and received my postdoctoral training at NIH/NCI, Laboratory of Molecular Biology (Dr. Cheng’s lab) for 3 years as a visiting fellow. I then moved to my present position as an associate professor in the third Department of Internal Medicine, Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Medicine and Engineering, University of Yamanashi in 2018. I focus my research on the function of the thyroid hormone receptor in the inflammatory response of macrophages.
