Jin Young Kwak, MD, PhD, is Professor of Radiology at Yonsei University College of Medicine, Severance Hospital, Seoul, Korea. Dr. Kwak completed her fellowship in Radiology at Severance Hospital. Her clinical interests are in thyroid imaging and intervention, with a focus on ultasonography, radiomics, deep learning, and molecular tests. Her research interests are in clinical trials and patient management. She has authored more than 250 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals. Among her many papers, the article, “Thyroid imaging reporting and data system for US features of nodules: a step in establishing better stratification of cancer risk” was published in “Radiology” in 2011 and has been cited more than 350 times in international journals (Kwak TIRADS). Dr. Kwak is an active member of the Korean Thyroid Association and presently served on the KTA Academic Board.
